Four Female Body Builders Who Went Extreme With Body Building

1. Iris Floyd Kyle

Iris was born on August 22 1974 in Benton harbor, Michigan. She claims the reason she got into bodybuilding was when she moved to Orange County, California, and being surrounded by fit, healthy-looking people, she thought she could obtain a similar highly trained, sculpted physique. Iris recalls, she walked into a gym and took out a membership. She’s also the most successful female professional bodybuilder ever.

2. Lenda Murray

Lenda Murray was born on February, 22 1962, Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Before fame she studied political science in at western Michigan university. In 1984, she joined a gym, the Powerhouse Gym, in Highland Park, Michigan. Within the first two days of joining the gym, Ron Love, an NPC Nationals contender told her that she had the physique to be a bodybuilder. After about a year of training to just stay in shape, she decided to compete in the 1985 Ms. Michigan Championships. After placing 4th she was hooked to the sport. Model and retired bodybuilder who won the coveted Ms. Olympia competition eight separate times between 1990 and 2003.

3. Sharon Bruneau

Sharon was born on February, 1 1964 in Timmins Ontario, Canada . She began her career as a fashion model, at which she was successful until contracting a bad case of pneumonia, which caused her to lose a lot of weight. After her recovery, she began training with weights to regain the weight she needed to get back to modelling. But after achieving a somewhat toned build, she was rejected at model agencies for being oversized. She then decided to give up modeling and dedicate herself to bodybuilding. During her bodybuilding career Sharon had gained nearly 50 pounds, but then cut back when she changed to fitness competitions.

4. Denice Masino

Denise Masino was born on May, 1 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, USA as Denise Sanchez. She began her bodybuilding career. Professionally, Denise started getting known as a bodybuilder in the early ’90s when she decided to compete in bodybuilding competitions . She then attained her first pro card by winning the lightweight class at the 1995 NPC Nationals completion. The win gave her lots of exposure and earned her many fans.
