Liverpool return to training as they aim to wrap-up first-ever league title

The Premier League table toppers Liverpool have been allowed to return to training ahead of a possible restart of the season which was suspended since mid-March, no thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

SunSport revealed five days ago a ‘major’ Premier League side had sent testing kits to players’ homes, with a view to getting them back in action.

Manager Jurgen Klopp earlier insisted that he would not head back to training until all players have been cleared to return.

It was gathered that players who have been confirmed negative for the infection are allowed to train in groups of threes, as they pitch themselves.

However, not all the players have returned to training as other stars are expected to return in the coming days.
