It’s no secret that the clothes you wear affect your behaviour, attitude, personality, mood, confidence, and even the way you interact with others. Having a great style is sometimes tricky but with the scriptures of fashion enthusiast and storyteller Tiwalade, your style is about to become better.
Tiwalade has decided to share some fashion scriptures from the Style Bible with us. You want to read this
Having a sense of style isn’t something strange to the world for it is an extension of how we communicate
Consciously or not, we express certain clothing patterns that interpret our mood, orientations, interests, and a whole lot more relating to the times.
But that in itself isn’t enough to suffice as the framework for what styling and individuality embody.
What more; you might ask, pieces together to make up one’s style? Well, that is the essence of this article. As you read on, we both would come to deciphering what works (for you) concerning distinct variables.
Let’s dive, shall we?
Our variables (or as I would like to call them, Chapters) are:
- Your Body Type (what works)
- The You in You
Your Body Type
Style Verse: “What you put on your body type determines your social hype.” – Tiwalade
There are quite several body types and skin tones that influence clothing choices to be made. Ranging from light skin to dark, skinny to plus size, what your body looks like physically should be considered before opting to add that piece of clothing to your style wardrobe.
Style Verse: “Hygiene is two-thirds of health.”
How you take care of yourself (body and mind) finds its way to influence what your style becomes. So just as the guys that are fragrance meticulous and mind feeders are categorically known to be style sharp, there are other groupings according to how much attention you take care of your body (in and out).
The You in You
Style Verse: “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom”. -Aristotle
Knowledge can be powerful provided you are willing to obtain and allow it to be. The extent of what you know about yourself is communicated in what you put together to make up your daily clothing and hence your style.
Remember your style is an extension of the language(s) you speak.
Fashion and Style have and would keep evolving. As such, it is important to keep in view these principles that hold us grounded to the cores of our individuality that is expressed through personal style.
