COVID-19: Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Reach 1,728, And 51 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says 196 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,728.

According to the agency, Nigeria now has 1,370 active cases recorded as of 11:55 p.m. On April 29, while 307 infected persons have been treated and discharged, with 51 deaths recorded.

As Nigeria prepares for the lockdown relaxation scheduled for May 4th, these cases are not relaxing. Do you think we are going to come out of this Coronavirus issue soonest?

Everybody is now living with the fear that we would live our lives like that of a prisoner.

In as much as people want to get back to their daily lives, it now begs to question if relaxing the lockdown is actually a good idea.
Will mere placing a curfew help fight against this virus?

Despite the 49 people reported to be discharged from isolation centre in Lagos state today, it still has the highest number of Coronavirus cases in today’s report. Lagos state today reports 87 new cases.
