COVID-19: Boss Mustapha tells Nigerians to expect new directives from Buhari

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has said President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, May 18, give Nigerians new directives on procedures to be adopted to check the spread of COVID-19.

Boss Mustapha, who chairs Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, made the disclosure shortly after members of the task force met with the president on Sunday, May 17, The Nation reports.

The president is expected to give new guidelines to Nigerians as the nation continues to check the spread of COVID-19.

He said the president will outline new procedures and guidelines for the next phase of the national response to COVID-19.

Mustapha stated that the COVID-19 task force had supplied the president with all the information required to look at the issues. He said the COVID-19 pandemic is not going to go away any time soon.
